Scholars will be engaged in hands-on learning through a multisensory learning approach. We instruct with a sense of urgency to ensure each scholar reaches their fullest potential as a reader, writer, and thinker.

Our Research-Based Multisensory Reading Sessions
Strong Letters. Strong Start.
Alphabet knowledge is one of the strongest predictors of future reading success. Research shows that children who quickly and confidently recognize letters are more likely to excel in decoding, spelling, and comprehension later on.
In this intervention, scholars master letter names, sounds, and proper letter formation (strokes), building a strong foundation for reading and writing. When children feel confident with their letters, they’re better prepared for everything that comes next.
Strong Ears = Strong Readers
Readers must be able to break apart spoken words into individual sounds. This is a foundational skill for learning how to read and write. Scholars will learn how to manipulate spoken language by counting syllables, rhyming, identifying individual sounds in a word, blending, segmenting, and more. This intervention improves auditory skills and will not include print.
From Sounds to Words
Strong phonics instruction is the foundation of confident reading. When scholars understand how letters and sounds work together, their spelling improves, reading becomes smoother, and overall comprehension strengthens.
In this intervention, scholars learn clear, step-by-step decoding and spelling strategies they can apply right away. We use the proven Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach, which is especially effective for scholars with dyslexia or dyslexic tendencies. This structured, hands-on method helps reading finally “click” — building both skills and confidence.
Word Detectives
A strong vocabulary is the key to strong reading. When scholars understand the words they’re reading, their comprehension, confidence, and overall performance improve dramatically. Vocabulary doesn’t just impact reading—it affects success in every subject, from solving math word problems to understanding science and social studies texts.
Our intervention intentionally builds vocabulary skills by teaching scholars how to unlock word meanings, use context clues, and confidently apply new words in their reading and writing. When vocabulary grows, everything else begins to click—and that’s when real academic growth happens.

Reading isn’t just about saying the words—it’s about understanding them. Our intervention teaches scholars how to think deeply about what they read, ask meaningful questions, and truly grasp the text.
We equip scholars with the skills and confidence to answer comprehension questions, write strong responses, and succeed in the classroom. When comprehension improves, confidence grows—and that changes everything.
